- Worker skills and professionalism are certified by the Italian Welding Institute, with:
- Welder qualifications (W.P.Q.)
- Procedure qualifications(P.Q.R.)
- Welding procedure qualifications (W.P.S.)
- Welding engineer qualifications (E.W.T.)
C.O.M.S. workers hold welding qualification certificates. They are qualified according to criteria set out by contract requirements and applicable regulations.
C.O.M.S. has:
- Welding qualifications in accordance with UNI EN 278-1 - AWS D1.1 - ASME
- 135 – Active protective gas welding with consumable electrode rod (mag welding);
- 111 – Arc welding with electrodes;
- 136 - Active protective gas welding with animated electrode;
- 141- Inert gas welding with tungsten electrode (tig welding).
- Welding Qualifications in accordance with AWS D.1.1.:
- Welding Qualifications in accordance with ASME IX 135
- 111-Arc welding with electrodes
- 135 – Active protective gas welding with consumable electrode rod (mag welding).
- C.O.M.S. holds the following procedure qualifications:
- Procedure Qualifications in accordance with 15614-1;
- 135 – Active protective gas welding with consumable electrode rod (mag welding);
- 136- Active protective gas welding with animated electrode;
- 121 – Submerged arc welding;
- 141 – Inert gas welding with tungsten electrode (tig welding).
